    1. Grapes (for wine)
    2. Corn (a lot of fields of corn in the area I lived in)
    3. Wheat (a bit less popular but still grown)
    4. Barley (not see a lot in France but can be found)

    From where I come from (Massachusetts, USA) there are many crops grown. Flowers and shrubs are the 1st main grown plants. These products generate 35% of the state’s total agricultural crops. Massachusetts produces more than 25% of the cranberries grown in the nation. Other important crops are sweet corn and apples. Hay is the major field crop grown in the state.

    The way agriculture changed people was that they learned to interact with the environment and grew crops for another source of food. Some major crops in Michigan,USA are apples,blueberries, cherries, and corn.

    California: Hay, rice, corn, sugar beets, and wheat

    Interesting Fact: Michigan is the national leader in cherry production in 2011 they grew 68% of the U.S’s total cherry production.

    Agriculture change the life of the entire world. With agriculture, people have been able to grow plants and crops. By growing the crops, people can feed theme self, other people and animals. In France some of the major crops are wheat, barley, oats, corn and grapes.

    My country is Japan!
    The major crop in Japan is rice. In 1999 Japan grew 11.5 million tons of rice!

    The minor crops are Soy beans, Wheat, Barley, and a large variety of fruit and vegetables.

    There are a lot of fruits and vegetables grown in Japan.

    All of the fruits are strawberry, melon, cherry, peach, watermelon, pears, persimmons, apple,and mandarin orange.

    All of the vegetables grown in Japan are cabbage, Hakusai, Spinach, Komatsuna, Mizuna, Shiso, Giant White Radish, Turnip, Potato, Sweet Potato, Taro Root, Yam, Burdock Root, Carrot, Onion, Ginger, Bamboo Shoots, Negi, Tomato ,Cucumber, Eggplant, Green Pepper, Shishito, Pumpkin, Corn, Okra, and Goya.

    Some of the crops that grow in India are coconuts, coffee and lots of spices. The leading crop is rice. Rice is a staple diet for most Indians. The eat it for lunch and dinner

    In Malaysia, the main crops are oil palm, rice, rubber, and cocoa, bananas, durian(it is a tropical fruit and despite the strong smell it is delicious), rambutan(similar to lychee).

    Minor crops, are corn because it is a seasonal plant, it is can only be produced in some season only it cannot be produced a whole year.

    In the Usa there is corn, soybeans, wheat, barley, dry edible beans, potatoes, onions, tomatoes and sweet corn. In Germany there is wheat, barley, corn, sugar beets, rye, oat, potatoes and fodder beets.

    India is famous for agriculture and a high part of their economy is dependant on the agriculture.They produce a lot of rice so it is a small wonder why a lot of Indian cuisine is rice or rice dishes.Not all of their crops are edible.They grow rubber and jute etc.
