As a blogger, you will be commenting on other people’s work regularly. We will learn the process for commenting and providing feedback.
Good comments:

Are constructive, not hurtful.

Consider the author and the purpose of the post.

Are always related to the content of the post.

Include personal connections to what the author wrote.

Answer a question, or add meaningful information to the content topic.

Follow the writing process. Comments are a published piece of writing. Proofread your comment before posting it.

Use the PQP (Praise, Question, Polish) method for making comments on other students’ writing samples.

The PRAISE is something the reader liked about the writing.

The QUESTION is something the reader found curious, confusing, or unclear in the writing.

The POLISH is a piece of advice or a suggestion that the reader offers to the author in order to make their writing that much better.

Think Before Posting:

Ask yourself: What will I cause by writing this post?

Treat other people the way you want to be treated.

Ask yourself: Would I want someone to say this to me?

Use appropriate language and proper grammar and spelling.
