Last Week of 6th Grade

Students,

We have arrived to our FINAL week of the school year. I want to thank you for your hard work, positive attitude and for making this a special year for us. We will miss you next year, especially those students who are leaving AISC. The following students will be returning to their country or going to another country for school next year: Chanmin, Changik, ChanWoo, Charlotte, Cyril, Jihyeon, Romane, Seohyeon, Yeobin, and Youhei. 

Make sure you exchange new email addresses and stay in touch with your friends. Goodbye is not forever, especially in the age of technology where we can easily keep in touch. Post a comment to wish someone well, tell us your summer vacation plans, and/or to mention something you will miss about social studies. It has been a true pleasure to teach you. Have a great summer!

    I will miss a lot of things about Social Studies one of the things I will miss is Out of Eden Learn. I will miss this because I really liked the activities in Out of Eden Learn. I will also miss the people who are leaving, hope you enjoy the place you will miss next!

      I am happy to hear you enjoyed OOEL. I think it’s a really cool project and I would say that Paul Salopek is a hero to me. I admire his journey.

    Charlotte, Romane, and Yeobin, we will all miss you!!
    I’m visiting all my home countries this summer; Finland, England, and Greece. I’m really glad because I haven’t been to Finland for a number of years. One night we will hopefully spend a night on the island in the middle of the lake that we are staying by.
    Something I will miss about social studies is all the fun activities we did, as well as the interesting units we have done.

    My summer vacation plan is to go to South Korea and rest. Something I will miss about S.S is that I will miss you Mr. Martin!

    I will miss everyone!!
    I wish I got to know the people that are leaving better…
    In the summer holidays I will go to Singapore for 2 days to meet my sister and then maybe we will go to japan for a week. Something I will miss about this social studies class is OOEL. I still want to continue!!

    Dear 6th grade SS

    It was a wonderful time and it was a great honour for me to study under the teaching my Mr. Martin. I truly grew a lot, both mentally and academically during 6th grade Social Studies, by learning more, by listening more and by seeing more.

    I’ll always miss 6th grade Social Studies and remember as the “foundational touch” for my historic knowledge. Thank you and Good Luck for everybody.

    Goodbye to all the ones that are leaving. I will all miss you, but maybe I will might you again later. lya.ravon@gmail.com is one e-mail you can use and I think that if you are leaving, it’s best that you use this one because my school e-mail will disappear one day.

    This summer I am going to France to my home town, Les Sables D’Olonne, were my grandparents live. I will go walking somewhere in France for a week with my grandparents, my cousin and my brother. I will also watch the olympic Games on TV, and I look forward to that part of the vacations because I like watching sports competitions. This is all I know I will be doing this summer but I am sure I will do more.

    I’ll miss everybody who are leaving, I’ll also miss Out of Eden learn. I loved writing all the posts, it was each time super. I will try to go see the most people… Cyril, ChanWoo, SeoHyeon and Yeobin, you did the class better, S.S. will not be the same next year, there will be like a piece of puzzle missing… Good luck!

    I wish all my friends that are leaving a goodbye and a good luck. In my summer holidays first I will go to Hydrabad to meet my family for a week and then I will go to my hometown Detroit, MI, USA. I will stay there for two and a half weeks. Something that I will miss about social studies is Mr. Martin because overall he has been a great year. I will miss everyone a lot!

    IT IS SOO SAD!! I can’t believe so many people are leaving! I have had many good experiences in social studies, though my favourite was when we watched the video about ice man! I wish everyone good and safe travels, and hope that we stay in touch. BYE!!!

    First I am going to say goodbye to two of my best friends this year. Charlotte and Romane. You both have been amazing friends.You both have always been there when I need you.
    Second something that I will miss in Social Studies is Playing Kahoot and doing OOEL. Also I will miss Mr.Martin as my social studies teacher. I will also miss the 10 people class I have in my social studies class

My summer vacation plans, are first were are going to London! After that I am going to Denmark!! I am also going to go to green land, were I am going snorkeiling! Last I am going to go to C.A, U.S to see my family! I am going to move to the U.S in ether C.A or Florida!!!

    I didn’t know the last day of school will come so soon. It was lucky to be in AISC and meet special friends and teachers. I will never forget precious memories I had since 3rd grade. I will miss every one of you. Thank you for everything and wish you all the best in 7th grade. Goodbye.

            I don’t see any typos! So far, so good. I have only had two classes. I hope things are going well for you. You can ‘unfollow’ the blog if you want. You are also free to post comments and add ideas. I will be doing some different things this year, although I still plan on doing Out of Eden Learn.
