The sumerians invented the wheel used in two ways,(wheel to move wagons and pottery wheel) and the plow. Cuneiform is important because it was the first known writing.

The sumerians invented two important tools the wheel and the plow. The plow was important because it was good for farming and could be pushed or pulled. The wheel was important because it gave transportation.The first wheel was probably a potter’s wheel.

1. The Sumerians invented bronze which was a mixture of copper and tin. They made tools out of bronze because it was stronger and lasted longer than copper. They also invented the plow which helped with their farming. Eventually, animals pulled the plows. They also invented the wheel which helped a lot with transportation
2. The invention of cuneiform was important because it helped with their record keeping. Also it was one of the earliest forms of writing. Today we use writing a lot.
