We have been learning about different types of maps and key terms used when reading maps. The end of chapter 1, lesson 2 (pages 24 – 25) features information on the future of navigation and the use of satellites of the Global Positioning System, of GPS. What uses for GPS can you think?
I think that we can use GPS during the vacation to see where you’re going, for example in Amazon.

I think we use GPS in Army or military because they can find where the terrorist is and can also make a plan how to attack the enemy. Also how to protect the station.

I am sure the military is using this type of technology.

I agree with Enzo and Futa GPS can be a good tool to navigate places in an unknown place. The GPS can also be used in military and vacations.

But in other way, it is not actually good. For example if you call somebody and CIA or FBI catched that signal, they can track you anywhere you go. So I am bit afraid of digital going too far.

When you are lost or trapped, it shows where to go easily and faster.
Also, when you are not going the right way using your GPS. you can update it and find a better way.

A G.P.S is a device used to navigate people. Not only can they be used in the military but in our everyday lives too. For example, if you needed to know where the closest grocery store is, the G.P.S would take you. Or if you were meeting friends at a restaurant you’ve never been to, your G.P.S would show you the way. People often use a G.P.S when going on road trips.
