Hello/Goodbye – January

Grade 6 will soon be say goodbye to two awesome students, Enzo and Jina whose last day will be on Friday. Enzo is returning to Australia after three years at AISC and Jina is returning to S. Korea, after four years here. Both students are kind, hard-working, and positive. We will miss you, Enzo and Jina!

In other class news, Mr. Seth Hills, a M.S. Intern at AISC, is joining Mr. Martin and Ms. Jaya for the second semester. Mr. Seth is from Washington State in the U.S.A. and has been an intern in Grade 8 and Grade 7 Humanities last year and this year, respectively. If you have a question for Mr. Seth, please feel free to post a question and ask him.

Dear Jina, (울 진아씨께)

네가 우리 학교 떠난다니 아쉽다 ㅠ.. You were so kind and had been a helpful friend to me. 어떨 땐 엉뚱함으로 웃음을 자아내기도 했지^^ Jina, you did more to me than I did to you, so I’m very unhappy to send you away to Korea. I believe you will be a perfect student who works really hard and always get 100% on your middle and final exams. 나한테 너무나도 소중한 친구였고, 항상 나한테 잘해줘서 고마워. I’ll never forget you. Good luck in Korea, and farewell! 적응 잘 할끼야! 잘 가그라~

I will miss you two so much!
Jina, I have so many classes with you and I can’t imagine them without you. Even though I wasn’t in your class last year, it feels like I’ve known you for ages already! Even though I really don’t want you to go, I wish for you to have an awesome time in Korea and remember this as an experience forever
Enzo, I remember that in 4th grade you were among the few boys with a great sense of humor, thank you so much for inviting me to Last Swim. I hope that you will always remember your great time in India when you leave to Australia.

Dear my friends,
It is very hard for me to go back to Korea because I know that I am going to miss all of you very much. It had been a great time in India with all of you and you guys were very special to me. Have a good time in India and stay in touch!!!

Enzo,
I never really knew you all that well but I will still miss you none the less. I don’t know you nearly as well as people like Jason and Allesio. Maybe we can become better friends over Email. Have an awesome time in Australia and remember me and don’t forget to send me that wig you promised. 🙂

Dear Enzo,

We will miss you so much because you were one of my best friends. Plus, when you are going to leave me and Jason wont have anyone to invite to a sleepover, if Kimberley invites two people. Another reason is that if you leave I’ll be the only boy in choir class. I’ll miss you so much pal.

I’m not as close to you as some of your other friends, but, you have supported me in everything that I did. I can’t even imagine how school will be without you! Dear Jina and Enzo,
I will miss you both so much! Jina, you always have a smile on your face, and P.E. isn’t P.E. without the P for Ms. Park! You always put me in a good mood! Enzo, Humanities and Math/Science won’t be the same without you making everyone get laughing fits! We both came to India at the same time in the beginning of 4th grade. Grade 6 won’t be the same without both of you!

진아야~~~ 갑자기 빨리가서 완전 속상해~~ 여기서 많은 추억도 같이 못 만들었는데…. 거기가서 적응 잘 할거 라고 믿을게!! 친구들 잘 사귀고(많이 많들어!!!) 남친도 만들고 ㅋㅋㅋ 많이 보고싶을 꺼양…ㅜㅜ 가서도 연락 많이하구~~~ 잘지냉~^^

I will miss you so much! You were the very first person I knew when I came here. You were my student ambassador and you were a great one too. You have helped me since the very first day with everything. Jina, trust me I don’t want you to leave but I realize that you have been here for long and you have to leave now. You have been a great friend and I’ll miss you a lot
